CATASTROPHIC BLEEDS
First Aiders & First Responders , First Aid Instructors will be taught the skills associated with rapid assessment of trauma injuries, packing techniques and stabilisation of the trauma victims. It is aimed at those working as ambulance and fire paramedics, community first responders and remote medics that operate from the UK.
The training includes both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, designed to develop a good, all round understanding of trauma care and to stop external haemorrhage with Pressure Dressings, Tourniquets & Celox haemostatic products.
Duration: 0900 for 0930 till 1300 hrs, with a light lunch provided 1300hrs with a chance of Networking.
